Intercom Systems 2700+

	DeltaComUSA Model DC-2701 Intercom System    Complete basic 24-Station Intercom System with one 27-TRM Terminal Cabinet and one HS-27-ADM Attendant's Phone. Includes DC-2724 Termination Board, and three 25-pair cables for connecting to the DC-2700 Master Controller. This system can be used with speakers having 25-Volt matching transformers, or it may be used with 45 ohm speakers directly. Station cables are connected using 4-position screw terminals. Recommended cable for standard system (with speakers and call switches): 3-Conductor, 22 gauge, with overall shield (four conductors total), either stranded or solid. Recommended room cable for HS-27-3 handset with speaker is 4-conductor, 22 gauge, with overall shield (five conductors total). A circulating pair from handset to handset may be substituted for the fifth conductor.    Each of the 24 remote stations connected to the basic system can draw up to one Watt of audio power. If higher output is required for paging to certain areas, an external booster amp may be connected to an unused station via matching circuitry, for powering corridor speakers and external horns. If multiple time-tones, and/or greater power at the remote stations are required, the system must be expanded to include room relays and an external paging amplifier, plus other control electronics.
	DeltaComUSA Model DC-2700 Intercom Controller     Master Control Unit (DC-2700) provides 24 stations with handsfree talkback, one way group call, and all call. May be expanded in groups of 24 stations to provide 48, 72 or 96 stations with intercom and paging. Also can distribute background music and zoned paging to groups of 6 rooms, and single-zone class change tones (time tones). Note: time-tone operation requires external master clock.     Remote stations are accessed by dialing a 3-digit number, which can be programmed for any room or architectural number between 101 and 999. Calling stations may also be identified alphanumerically by the calling party's name or other title via the caller ID display of the attendant's phone.     Supports up to six or more administrative phones, any of which may answer or initiate calls to room stations. Room stations typically consist of a speaker and a call switch. Optional wall handsets may be included instead of call switches for increased privacy during intercommunication (requires DC27-PS & 27-TEL for operation).     With additional components, the Model 2700 can support up to six zones of programmed bell schedules, as well as high-level paging to outdoor horns or speakers (requires DC-2724-RY-TT termination boards, power supply, and other equipment--see below).     The Model DC-2700 may be mounted to a flat wall or surface with mounting brackets (included), or it can be rack-mounted in a 19-inch EIA standard enclosure. 	DeltaComUSA Model DC27-EXP Expansion Unit     For systems requiring more than 24 stations, the DC27-EXP expansion unit adds an additional 24 stations per each unit for a maximum of 96 stations. The DC27-EXP provides the same functionality as the DC-2700 master controller, with two-way handsfree communication, one way all call and group page, and annunciation (room call-in) by architectural number. Like the DC-2700, the expansion unit is rack-mountable in a standard 19-inch panel rack, or its mounting brackets may be used to surface-mount it to a wall or a plywood panel.     The DC27-EXP is designed to connect to the DC-2700 master intercom controller by a 25-pair Amphenol-type telephone connector mounted on its side. The DC-2700 is provided with latches at the top and bottom which lock the two connectors together. Additional expansion units are attached in a similar manner, with latches at each end to secure their connections.     Each DC27-EXP requires one DC-2724 terminal board and cable assembly to connect field wiring to the system. An additional terminal cabinet is required for systems with over 48 stations, to house the terminal boards and power supply, when necessary. 	DeltaComUSA 27-TRM Terminal Cabinet (Shown with DC-2724-RY-TT and DC27-PS installed)      Each complete DC-2701 system is provided with a Model 27-TRM steel terminal cabinet, giving a capacity for up to 48 stations. The cabinet is rack-mountable in a standard 19-inch panel rack, or its mounting brackets may be used to surface-mount it to a wall or a plywood panel. The cabinet can hold either one or two DC-2724 terminal boards and cable assemblies, for connecting field wiring to the system.       An additional terminal cabinet is required for systems with over 48 stations, or to house other electronics and/or the power supply, when necessary. Because of the many varieties of options available with the 2700 system, the cabinet may have more or less components installed than as pictured here. Power supply and bus terminations are via terminal barrier strips (6-32 screws, 10 or 12 terminals), which are labeled for external connections. 	DeltaComUSA HS-27-ADM Administrative Handset       Each DC-2701 Intercom system includes one HS-27-ADM administrative phone, which may answer or initiate calls to room stations. Room stations typically consist of a wall or ceiling speaker and a call switch. Optional wall handsets (HS-27-3) may be included instead of call switches for increased privacy during intercommunication (requires a minimum of one DC27-PS and one 27-TEL installed in the system for operation). Calling room stations are identified by location number on the three-line liquid crystal display, along with time and date.     Remote stations are accessed by dialing a 3-digit number, which can be programmed for any room or architectural number between 101 and 999. Calling stations may also be identified alphanumerically by the calling party's name or other title via the caller ID display of the attendant's phone.     The DC-2700 system supports up to six or more administrative phones, any of which may answer or initiate calls to room stations.
